DESCRIPTION:The Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention has partnered with Hoggetowne Medieval Faire to provide FREE museum admission during the Hoggetowne Goes Downtown Faire from January 27–28\, 2024 at Gainesville’s Depot Park. \nArtisans and craftspeople shall ply their trades with skill\, olde world demonstrations shall enchant\, and the clash of swords in stage combat shall resonate through the air. Let not thy heart be heavy\, for medieval music and dance shall lift thy spirits\, and a living chessboard shall unfold its strategic dance. Witness royal knighting ceremonies with the King and Queen\, indulge in food court favorites\, and savor the timeless delight of turkey legs! \nMuseum Hours: 10am–4pm \nFaire Hours: 10am–6pm \nHoggetowne Goes Downtown is produced by City of Gainesville Parks\, Recreation and Cultural Affairs.
