Internships

​The Cade Museum for Creativity & Invention strives to provide a workplace that promotes creativity and invention at its core. Events Intern

We are looking for passionate, engaged, and committed interns to assist the event coordinator with facility rentals and special events. The internship will provide the student with real-world experience in event management.

Department: Events

Classification: Unpaid internship, can but does not require academic credit

Reports to: Facility Rentals Manager

Schedule: Schedule varies based on event schedule. Minimum of 10 hours/week. *May require evening and weekend hours.

Internship Duties:

  • Assist event manager with onsite event set-up, management, and breakdown
  • Assist with the planning and promotion of internal special events
  • Attendance and participation during client meetings, planning sessions, and brainstorms
  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • An adaptable, creative, articulate, highly-motivated individual with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (informal and formal)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite​
