Cade in the community
Our community recognizes Cade’s iconic building as a place where imagination is sparked and big ideas are shared. But our mission extends beyond our walls. We seek to build bridges and create spaces where the curious minds in our community can engage in STEAM education.
We not only go out into communities to bring STEAM education to them, we also provide family memberships to participants at no cost, allowing them to visit the Cade any time to continue their learning.
Because of our name and our historic connection to Gatorade, many people mistakenly assume that the institution’s financial needs are met. But while Dr. Cade did grant the institution a partial Gatorade trust unit, it covers only 13% of the museum’s operations. Other crucial funding must be generated through museum operations, grants, and individual gifts.
