Volunteers are an essential part of our mission. Be a part of the Cade Museum experience and deepen your own knowledge by volunteering in the Museum and behind the scenes!
Individual volunteer applications are now open for Fall 2026. Please note that volunteers must be at least 15 years old and will need to attend a required orientation before volunteering. We are not currently accepting group volunteer applications.
How to get started:
- Create a Volunteer Account
- Attend a Volunteer Orientation
- You will receive registration information for upcoming orientations upon approval of your account. Orientations will take place in-person at the Cade Museum once a month.
- Pass a Level 1 background Check
- This step is only required for volunteers ages 18+
- There is an $8 fee for the background check. If this fee would create a financial hardship, please contact us at volunteers@cademuseum.org to discuss options.
- Sign up for Training Shift
- At your first shift, you will receive specific training based on the type of volunteer activity chosen.
- Sign up for Volunteer Shifts
- You will register for the volunteer activity of your choosing through the Volunteer Hub site.
