Museum visitors who do not abide by the following policies and general safety requirements may be asked to leave the Museum.

  1. Eating and drinking are not permitted inside the Museum. Parents may feed babies in areas excluding galleries, exhibits, and labs.
  2. Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted anywhere on the Cade Museum campus. This includes the Depot Park, the outside surroundings of the Museum, and the interior of the Museum.
  3. Use of the Cade Museum Patio is for Cade Museum guests only. For facility rental information, please visit our rental page.
  4. Bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, scooters, and other rolling devices may not be ridden on the Cade Museum campus.
  5. Children under the age of 14 must be always accompanied by an adult during Museum visits.
  6. Guests may visit the Museum’s gift shop, the Loot Lab, without purchasing Museum admission.
  7. Restrooms are for Cade Museum guests only. Guests must purchase an item from the gift shop or purchase an admission ticket to use the restroom.
  8. Photography is permitted within the Cade Museum, but may not be used for advertisement without prior permission. Photography may not interfere with the guest experience. For photoshoot inquiries, please email info@cademuseum.org.
  9. Stroller use is permitted, but due to space constraints, not all Museum spaces may be accessible to strollers. Stroller parking is available.
  10. Service animals are permitted into the building. No other pets, including emotional support animals, are permitted.
  11. No weapons are permitted on the Cade Museum campus.
  12. The Cade Museum campus is private property and sits adjacent to Depot Park. For the safety of Cade Museum guests, loitering in the Museum or elsewhere on Museum property for extended periods of time while not engaged in Museum activities is prohibited. The Cade reserves the right to trespass individuals for the safety of our guests and campus.
  13. Conduct that is unwarranted and is reasonably interpreted to be demeaning or offensive will not be tolerated. The Cade reserves the right to remove individuals from the campus for the safety of our guests.
  14. Being fully clothed, including shirt, shoes, and pants, dress, or skirt, is a requirement.
  15. Unsafe behavior such as roughhousing, climbing on furniture or other Museum property, running, use of wheeled shoes or any other potentially injurious actions is prohibited.
